In 2009, nearly 29,000 students attended the picturesque campus, coming not only for the fun, friendly atmosphere, but also for the intense and exciting programs of study. UA offers many academic programs that are unavailable anywhere else in Alabama, including doctoral programs in anthropology, music, and social work. Additionally thrilling are the UA’s athletic teams, known as The Crimson Tide.
